  • GRAPES: 40% Aleatico, 30% Primitivo, 30% Aglianico
  • PRODUCTION AREA: Vineyard Marchesana, Gioia del Colle
  • SOIL: Red iron soil, characterised by an underlying layer of limestone
  • VINE-TRAINING SYSTEM: Spur pruned cordon
  • PLANTS PER HECTARE: 4 300
  • PRODUCTION PER HECTARE: 8 tons
  • HARVEST: Mechanical harvest during the first decade of September
  • VINIFICATION: Alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Soft pressing of the grapes with a brief maceration in contact with the skins.
  • AGING: 3 months in stainless steel tanks and 2 months in the bottle
  • ALCOHOL DEGREE: 12% vol.
TASTING NOTES
  • SIGHT: Intense cherry-pink colour
  • NOSE: Fruity (strawberry, raspberry and cherry) and floral (rose, oleander), enhanced by hints of aromatic herbs
  • PALATE: Smooth, silky and round, balanced by pleasant freshness and saline nuances. Persistent and balsamic finish
