PRIMITIVO WITHOUT ADDED SULPHITES

  • GRAPES: 100% Primitivo
  • PRODUCTION AREA: Acquaviva delle Fonti, Puglia
  • SOIL: Clay loam soil with limestone blocks
  • VINE-TRAINING SYSTEM: Spur pruned cordon
  • PLANTS PER HECTARE: 4300
  • PRODUCTION PER HECTARE: 7 tons
  • HARVEST: Mechanical harvest during the second half of September
  • VINIFICATION: 7 days
  • AGING: 5 months in stainless steel tanks and 2 months in the bottle
  • ALCOHOL CONTENT: 15% vol.
TASTING NOTES
  • SIGHT: Ruby red colour with bright purple reflections
  • NOSE:Intense aroma of cherry, plum and blackberry, delicately woven with notes of violet, myrtle and blood orange
  • PALATE:Full and fresh sip with fine tannins well integrated into the texture of the wine. Long finish, with notes of prune, fig, wild herbs, and red citrus fruit
